LAUREN TRANKIEM

I have always been interested in various art forms: drawing, painting, and film to name a few. I first picked up a camera in middle school by experimenting with my mom’s point-and-shoot camera. But, I wanted to learn more. Towards the end of eighth grade, I diligently researched and saved up for my own DSLR camera, and the rest is history.

Now, I use my passion for photography to document significant events in my both my life and those around me. At the outset of high school, I enjoyed capturing memories at my cross country races and at various scouting events after being elected as the photographer for my crew. In 2017, I began capturing group and couple’s dance photos, graduation events, birthday parties, and family and senior portraits.

 

Successful shoots require an openness to different perspectives, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing environments -- virtues I practice in both this passion and in all aspects of my life.
